The best part about the upright bike is that it can tone all part of the legs including your chords and when you push the pedal down it switches to the hamstrings as you bring the pedal back up.

Air rower

The rowing machine works your lower body and also your upper body besides abdominal muscles the main legs muscles which are used with the rowing machine include the quads and glutes but to reap the optimum benefits you need to sit on the seat and strap your feet in the footrests hold on to the handles with both arms and bend your knees and tuck them in the chest.
